Job #1 – Store Manager – Lower Cape

Full Time: Provides overall direction and supervision of retail location. Provide friendly and efficient customer service by greeting customers and offering assistance.  

Maintaining an awareness of all product knowledge information, promotions and sale items.

Actively problem solving and positively resolving customer issues and complaints.

Accepting and processing special orders. Accepting, documenting and communicating delivery requests with detailed directions. Manages profitable, appropriate inventory levels by generating or delegating necessary re-order advices on a daily basis.

Adjusting and controlling inventory as needed, with minimal guidance, using the existing min/max system.  Maximizing profitability through the use of Just in Time Inventory.

Supervises all location employees.  Qualifications: Minimum High School Graduate, prefer at least a 2-year college degree. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and supervise employees. Solid computer skills that include Internet ability and experience.

Flexibility to work varied hours and dates, both indoors and out, in potentially inclement weather, as business dictates. Ability to move or handle merchandise generally weighing between 0-70 pounds. Salary range $50,440 - $60,440 based on experience plus benefits.

Job #2 – Administrative Assistant – Lower Cape

Full Time: The Town of Harwich is accepting applications for the position of Administrative Assistant within the Finance Department assigned to the Assessors Office. Must have a minimum High School graduation and 3 to 5 years experience in an office setting dealing with the public or equivalent and relevant combination of education and experience. The position will be focused on calls and visitors, preparing reports, performing research, and maintaining paper and electronic files. Requires ability and skill to work tactfully and effectively with the public; possesses good computer, written and oral skills.
