Statement from Dennis Fire Department Acting Assistant Chief Robert Brown:

South Dennis, MA -  An employee of Cape Cod Ready Mix, 226 Great Western Road, was airlifted to Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, after his hand became entrapped in a piece of machinery he was working on.

At 2:20 pm Dennis fire and police responded to the incident. Upon arrival it was reported that the man was able to free his hand. Dennis rescue personnel found the victim laying down on the floor. He was stabilized at the scene and transported to Barnstable Airport with non-life threating trauma related injuries.
