Falmouth Church Invites Public to Celebrate Installation of New Organ

October 11th at John Wesley United Methodist Church

The greater Falmouth community is invited to John Wesley United Methodist Church 270 Gifford Street, Falmouth to celebrate the installation of its new Allen organ with a Dedication Recital to be held on Friday, October 11 2019 at 7 pm. There will be a free will offering. The organ features the ability to play digitally sampled great pipe organs from all over the world which will be demonstrated in the recital. The evening's guest performer will be Robert Potterson III, a native New Englander and active composer/arranger, keyboardist, and educator for the past 20 years. The recital will include a wide range of works by various composers. A highlight will be the premiere of a original setting of Psalm 150 by Mr. Potterton, which was commissioned to showcase the organ as well as the church's Chancel and Handbell Choirs.
