[Monday AM Coastal Storm Update] Freezing drizzle/very light freezing rain develops by daybreak northwest of Boston-Providence corridor. Light, thin glaze of ice expected to impact the AM commute in these areas. All rain by early afternoon. Drive cautiously if traveling this morning!

Winds: Increasing northeast winds could result in minor wind damage (downed tree limbs, isolated power outages) for Cape Cod and the Islands tonight. Gale Warnings in effect all waters.

Coastal Flooding: Minor coastal flooding impacts to vulnerable shoreline roads in eastern MA around and during this afternoon's high tide (2-5 PM).

A chance of drizzle before 7am, then rain, mainly after 7am. Patchy fog after 10am. High near 49. Breezy, with a north wind 22 to 24 mph, with gusts as high as 44 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
Tonight
Rain likely, mainly before 9pm. Patchy fog before 4am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 42. Breezy, with a north wind 17 to 22 mph decreasing to 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 36 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

A slight chance of rain before 7am, then a slight chance of showers between 7am and 9am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 50. West wind 8 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
