From the Wareham Fire Department:

This evening, the Wareham Fire Department responded to a report of a single motor vehicle crash on Barker Road.

Upon arrival, crews located the vehicle on its side in a small ravine with the driver still inside.

Multiple fire department members cut through the windshield to gain access to the driver and were able to successfully remove her from the vehicle

Medflight was called and a landing zone was set up nearby for them to land.

There was a ferret recovered uninjured and is safe in the hands of the Animal Control Officer.

Special thanks to Wareham EMS, Wareham Police, Wareham Animal Control, Plymouth Fire and Boston Medflight for a job well done.
