Barnstable DPW - Tree Removal Today at 29 Phinney's Lane

Expect lane closures and delays in the vicinity...

The Department of Public Works Tree Crew will be performing storm damage clean up on Friday February 14, 2020. 

The clean up will be in the vicinity #29 Phinney’s Lane across from Mothers Park. 

Work performed will include cutting, chipping and machinery loading large logs into large truck(s). 

Work is expected to be completed by Friday February 14, 2020.

The removal process will require lane closures throughout the day.  At times, vehicular traffic will be directed by Barnstable Police Officers.

Operations will start promptly at 8 AM and run until 3 PM, after which time traffic will be opened back onto all lanes of Phinney’s Lane.

Traffic during construction operations will be delayed and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid the tree work.

As always, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through the work zone and follow posted safety signs.
