AnnaBelle Gramse, 86, of Cummaquid, MA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 18 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 20, 1928 in Yakima, Washington and graduated from the University of Maryland in 1954 with a BA in English. AnnaBelle is survived by her husband, Dr. Harold Gramse. They were married on August 4, 1956, and enjoyed over 62 wonderful years of love and devotion. She worked alongside her husband as a dental assistant and office manager in his private dental practice. They lived in Springfield for 42 years, retiring on Cape Cod in 2001. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her: AnnaBelle is also survived by her three daughters and son and their spouses: Karoline and Richard Syner Jr. of Springfield; Linda MacDonald of Shelburne, Jeffrey and Lori Gramse of Falmouth, Maine; and Dr. Laura Gramse and Tom Adams of Springfield. She deeply cherished all of her grandchildren, who called her "GRAMMY": Christopher, Timothy, Karisa, Nicholas, Jeffrey, Stephanie, Matthew, Michael, Benito, Giovanni and AnnaBelle. She will also be greatly missed by Tag, her yellow lab. She loved to cook and try new recipes, plant her flowers in her perennial garden, and take pottery classes. Services will be held for family and friends on Sunday, August 23, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Sampson's Chapel of the Acres, 21 Tinkham Road, Springfield, MA and Monday, August 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Foster Memorial Church, 36 Puritan Road, Springfield, MA.
